smarterway is a members only benefit club. You get access to normally unavailable benefits that save you money everyday, with new benefits are being added all the time

Anyone over 18 can join the club. Because we DO NOT credit check anyone, passing the identity verification enables anyone to join the club and get a smarterway retail card.

The site has been built to support all the latest internet browsers, however if you are using the older Internet Explorer 6 version you may experience some small difficulties. As a tip, Internet Explorer updates are free of charge in most cases, simply do a search for internet browser downloads.

You will be able to load money onto your card using a debit card, via the My Account part of this website, you can also use our automated telephone service, setup regular payment transfers from your bank or simple top up online when ever you want to. If a friend or family member wants to do a one-time Top-Up onto your Card, and they have a bank account with an online facility, then they will be able to load your card if you supply them with the correct bank account and payment reference details. For security purposes we reserve the right to refuse to accept any particular loading transaction.

There is no transaction charge for use in the UK, however we charge a small admin fee everytime you need to top up your card. Debit card top up fee via Your Account (5 day clearance) - 50p per top up. Direct debt and add hoc payments via internet / telephone / branch (next day clearance)- 30p per top up. Debit card express - (2 hour max clearance) - £3.50 per top up.

When you become a member of smarterway you receive your retail card. Simply top up your card and then use it to pay for goods in any of our partner retailers, you will then get your cashback credited to your account next time you top up your card.

We keep a track of your savings and you can view them on line via your account login. We will add any outstanding cashback to the amount you load every time you top up your card. Example, if you have £20 cashback due to you and you then load £100 to your account, you will have £120 loaded to spend.

No. When you apply and join smarterway you will be asked to agree with the Terms and Conditions which are applicable to the retail card. Sending the form is the equivalent to signing that you agree with these Terms and Conditions. Signing the back of the card, activating and using the card is further acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
